Light or heat source damage
CLASSIFICATION
Abiotic, light-related issue
ABOUT
Exposition to a strong source of light or heat (such as a radiator, light bulb, fire) can be damaging to plants and lead to injuries, stunted growth, leaf drop, etc.
How to treat?
- Biological
Prevent the plant from directly touching a window. Windows can accumulate heat and cause damage to the plant.
If possible remove the damaged parts of the plant. The injury can become an entry point for infectious disease.
