ABOUT

Parlour palm has long been used as an indoor plant. This beautiful plant with dark green foliage was transported to the USA from Central America and immediately became a popular indoor plant.
Sometimes you can find single-stemmed specimens, but more often palms are grown in small clumps to resemble palm-shaped bushes.
The branches are popular in floral arrangements because they can last up to 40 days after being cut from the plant.
Parlour palm is slow growing plant and can take years to reach full height (2 to 6 feet indoors and 6 to 16 feet outdoors).

    • By SEEDS:
It is a protracted process and requires proper care. The seeds need to be soaked for 5 days. Then, it is important, you need to very carefully remove the shell from the seeds and put them into the soil.
The container with planted seeds should be placed in a warm (77 °F) and moderately humid place.
After that, all that remains is to remember to water. The first plants appear after about 6 months.
      By DIVISION:
A mature, vigorous and healthy plant with young shoots is necessary.
You need to take the palm out of its pot and very carefully separate the shoots from the plant. Try to do this carefully and damage the root system as little as possible.
Plant all the little and mature plant in separate pots and don't forget to water them.
